Allen Robinson made waves when he removed mentions of the Chicago Bears from his social media accounts in the last 24 hours.
Now the wide receiver reportedly wants out. The Chicago Tribune reported on Tuesday that Robinson asked the team about a trade as the two sides appear to remain far apart on a contract extension.
The 27-year-old is in the final season a a three-year, $42 million deal and was not able to reach terms with the Bears on an extension before the start of the season. Robinson led the Bears with 98 receptions for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns last season and was easily the team’s most potent weapon on an otherwise stagnant offense.
