Alexander Noren shot a 2-under 70 Sunday to win the Scottish Open at Castle Stuart by one shot over Englishman Tyrrell Hatton.
The win is Noren's fifth on the European Tour, all of which have come after holding the 54-hole lead. The talented Swede, who played college golf at Oklahoma State alongside Hunter Mahan, struggled on the greens early Sunday. Nonetheless, he managed to birdie two holes on the back nine to outlast a slew of competitors.
