Okafor Could Miss 6 Weeks

Okafor’s injury, diagnosed as a strained right calf, was initially estimated to sideline him two to four weeks but further evaluation revealed he could be out until late November, per Rand Getlin of NFL.com.

The Cardinals quickly compensated Monday by signing veteran pass-rusher Dwight Freeney, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN. Freeney will account for the absence of Okafor and backup linebacker Kenny Demens, who also left the team's Week 5 game with a knee injury.
