The U.S. women's national soccer team trimmed its final Olympic roster to 18 members on Tuesday as it gets set to defend its 2012 gold medal at the Rio de Janeiro Games.
No nation has backed up a Women's World Cup title with an Olympic gold, but the USWNT's bid will feature forward Alex Morgan, fully healed midfielder Carli Lloyd and superstar keeper Hope Solo.
