Alabama will open its 2019 season in a very familiar place: Atlanta.
The Tide will head to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff game on Aug. 31, 2019, where they will face Duke. It will be the sixth time Alabama has opened its season in Atlanta -- the Tide are also scheduled to open 2017 in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff against Florida State.
Since 2008, Alabama is 8-1 in games played in Atlanta -- 4-0 in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff and 4-1 in SEC Championship Games.
