A judge found Alabama outside linebacker Alphonse Taylor not guilty of driving under the influence, The Tuscaloosa News reported.
Tuscaloosa Municipal Judge Ricky McKinney announced the verdict Tuesday.
"Of course I am pleased with this verdict," said Jason Neff, Taylor's attorney. "I hope Mr. Taylor will have an opportunity to move forward with his football career."

The charge stems from a July 17 incident in which Taylor called police at 8:50 a.m., saying he had struck a parked vehicle. According to the responding officer, Taylor's speech was slow and he seemed "lethargic.
