After working with a small option of tight ends throughout spring practice, Alabama football has made a key addition to the room through the NCAA transfer portal.
Jack Sammarco, a Cincinnati, Ohio, tight end who spent his freshman season at West Virginia, will transfer to Alabama, Evan Dreyer, Sammarco's coach at Anderson High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, told The Tuscaloosa News.
"Jack is an extremely great kid and player. He will be attending the University of Alabama," Dreyer said. "As his high school coach, I am extremely proud of what he has done and what he is going to accomplish in the SEC.
