Alabama fans who wanted to glean some knowledge about next year's offense from its spring game might have to wait for the Tide's season opener against USC next season.
Fans who hoped to see offensive fireworks from quarterbacks Cooper Bateman and David Cornwell, receivers Cam Sims and Robert Foster and running back Bo Scarbrough will just have to go off scouting reports. The Tide defense left no room for the offense to operate on Saturday — and no doubt who will lead the team in 2016.

The first-team defense, even without the likes of Reggie Ragland, Jarran Reed and A'Shawn Robinson, harassed the offense at will in a game that saw the White team beat the Crimson team 7-3.
