Alabama defensive line coach Bo Davis is expected to resign or be fired over possible recruiting violations.
His expected departure comes amid an internal investigation by the university and an inquiry by the NCAA, according to The Tuscaloosa News.
Davis, who coached the Tide's dominant defensive line each of the past two seasons, first joined coach Nick Saban's staff at Alabama in 2007. He left after 2010 to coach the same position at Texas for three seasons before rejoining Alabama prior to the 2014 season. He also coached under Saban as an assistant defensive line coach and assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Dolphins in 2006.
