Alabama A&M football player Danny Johnson was killed in a car accident Thursday morning, AL.com has reported.
The 20-year-old sophomore defensive back was pronounced dead at the scene after the vehicle in which he was riding collided head-on with a truck outside Scottsboro, Ala; Johnson was not wearing his seatbelt. Johnson's girlfriend was also in the vehicle and was transported to a nearby hospital, according to Huntsville, Ala., television station WAAY.
