Akron receiver Andrew Pratt was shot in the stomach by a teammate after he was mistaken for a an intruder early Saturday morning, according to Ohio.com.
Offensive lineman Scott Boyett, who lives in the same off-campus house as Pratt, shot the receiver when he entered Boyett’s apartment unannounced around 3 a.m. By the time police arrived to the residence, Boyett had taken Pratt to the emergency room at Akron Children’s Hospital.

Pratt was later transferred to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center where he was in stable condition and is expected to recover from the injury.
