Sergio Aguero admits Lionel Messi was “furious” after Barcelona was beaten by Manchester City, but denied that Fernandinho was involved in any tunnel bust-up.
It was claimed in the hours after City’s 3-1 Champions League victory last week that an unnamed player provoked Messi as he made his way off the pitch, which led to the Argentine storming towards the home dressing room.
It was later suggested by Brazilian media that Fernandinho was the player in question, while Spanish reports pointed the finger at City coach Mikel Arteta.
