Entering the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, the United States, Brazil, France and Germany were all viewed as favorites to make it to the semifinals and potentially medal.
Somebody forgot to tell Sweden.
The Swedish women's national team continued its fantastic run at the competition on Tuesday, eliminating host Brazil in the semifinals just days after beating the United States in the quarterfinals. After beating the U.S. in penalty kicks 4-3, Sweden did it to Brazil by the same scoreline after playing 120 minutes of play at 0-0.
