The Las Vegas Raiders could be a potential landing spot for Adrian Peterson after the veteran was released by the Washington Football Team Friday.
"Multiple league execs believe the Las Vegas Raiders could be a sizable option for him because they have Josh Jacobs in the running back spot and he could back him up," ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported on SportsCenter (via Brad Crawford of 247Sports). "Peterson could play some power football for Jon Gruden."
Fowler noted three teams called Peterson's representatives after his release.
The Raiders have an opening on the depth chart after trading third-round pick Lynn Bowden Jr.
