Devastating floods wrecked havoc in parts of Texas last week, including in Adrian Peterson's hometown of Palestine.
The Vikings running back has decided to give back to his community and will donate $100,000 to the town this weekend. He will also match any donations given by the Salvation Army.

"Seeing the devastation and the disaster there, and more importantly six lives were claimed due to the storm, I feel obligated being in my position to use my resources to be able to help my community come back from this," Peterson said, via the Minneapolis StarTribune.
