According to ESPN NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, the options for free-agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers have narrowed to two. It's either sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers or retire. This gives the Steelers hope that playing for them and making tens of millions of dollars is more enticing than retirement but with Rodgers anything is possible.
But if we assume Rodgers does sign with the Steelers and does it in the next three weeks, here's what we think will happen next.
Huge impact on the draft
We still expect the Steelers to select a quarterback in the 2025 NFL draft but if Rodgers sign, we don't think Pittsburgh will spend a first-round pick on a player like Jaxson Dart or Jalen Milroe.
