Earlier on Wednesday, ESPN New York reported that embattled Yankees DH Alex Rodriguez said he was going to retire after the 2017 season, when his deal with the Yankees expires.
Apparently, he either changed his mind, was misquoted or is attempting to troll everyone, because several hours later he said the following to the New York Post:
“I'm thinking in terms of my contract, which ends in 2017. After that, we'll see what happens,” Rodriguez told The Post. “I've got two years and more than 300 games to play.
