A nesting Canadian goose at Wrigley Field is officially becoming a Cubs bleacher bum

Animals invading sporting events is nothing new, and we here at For The Win love when it happens. But our latest example is a bit more unexpected when the usual incidents are more like an alligator on a golf course, a cat on a soccer field, a squirrel on a football field or a dog in the outfield.

Either way, most of these animal moments are delightful interruptions — although Saturday's goose at Wrigley Field was a bit more peculiar than anything.

At Saturday's Chicago Cubs' home game against the San Diego Padres, a section at Wrigley Field was closed because a Canadian goose made a nest in the bleachers, as Block Club Chicago reported.
