After a closely contested opening round, Tim Means cruised to a victory over fellow rising welterweight Alex Garcia. With the win, Means is now unbeaten in four of his last five and deserves an opponent also close to cracking the 170-pound top 15.
I’d love to see Means throw down with another dynamic striker in Alan Jouban, who also sits right outside the top 15 after seeing his three-fight win streak snapped by Gunnar Nelson in March.
