As Jim Harbaugh prepares for his second head coaching job in the NFL, his former franchise appears to be supporting him from afar.
Harbaugh is set to make his return from the collegiate ranks to the NFL after being hired as the next coach of the Los Angeles Chargers in January. This ended a very successful tenure at Michigan where he led the program to three College Football Playoff appearances and a National Championship in the 2023 season.
As the chapter with the Chargers begins, it makes sense to look back at Harbaugh's previous NFL stint, where he was the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2014.
