San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall will have to wait at least another week before returning to the football field.
Per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said during his press conference on Monday that Pearsall will not be designated to return from the non-football injury list this week as he continues his recovery from being shot in the chest in August.
San Francisco is gearing up for an NFC West matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, so the fact that it's not a normal practice week likely influenced the team's decision to keep the 24-year-old on the NFI list.
