The real value for the San Francisco 49ers in the 2025 NFL draft may come after the first round is over.
They are set to hold a pre-draft meeting with Ohio State defensive tackle Tyleik Williams according to Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz. Williams is projected as a Day 2 pick, but his NFL comp from NFL Media's Lance Zierlein shows how valuable he is as a second or third-round pick.
Zierlein in his post-combine writeup compared Williams to Detroit Lions defensive tackle Alim McNeill, a disruptive terror on the Lions' defensive front who was a third-round pick in the 2021 draft and earned a four-year, $97 million contract last season.
