As the San Francisco 49ers gear up for their 2024 season opener against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football, the team is hoping that the sting of losing the Super Bowl last season will serve as motivation for the upcoming campaign.
49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk explained to ESPN's Nick Wagoner that the Super Bowl LVIII loss to the Kansas City Chiefs was still a sore subject while he vacationed with San Francisco running back Christian McCaffrey and tight end George Kittle, and it remains that way to this day.
"Sometimes it's like we're laughing, we're laughing, and then you make a quick joke about the Super Bowl and we're like, f--k," Juszczyk said.
