The 2025 NFL draft is approaching, and the Chargers still have work to do. General manager Joe Hortiz will be responsible for rounding out the rest of the roster.
Hortiz did a tremendous job in 2024 in his first draft in the new role, so we'll see if he can replicate that kind of success. NFL Media's Chad Reuter detailed the most ideal first two picks for the Bolts in the upcoming draft.
1st round (22nd overall): Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
The re-signing of Khalil Mack helps the position immensely, but the Chargers need a long-term answer along the edge.
