NEW YORK — The NBA Draft is Thursday (8 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN) and after the NBA Draft Combine, agent pro days, team workouts and interviews, both the first and second rounds are starting to take shape. Everyone knows 7-foot-4 Victor Wembanyama is slated to go No. 1, and the uncertainty and speculation starts at No. 2 with the Charlotte Hornets.
There could be multiple trades starting as soon as pick No. 3 with the Trail Blazers, sending the draft on a completely different trajectory. Many teams may be trying to get involved in this year's draft with a drop-off in one-and-done talent coming in the 2024 and 2025 drafts.
