Cincinnati has not had a winning record since the 2015 season, and a 2-14 record in 2019 matched their franchise-worst mark set in 2002. That dismal season gave the Bengals the first overall pick in the 2003 NFL draft, and they used it to select quarterback Carson Palmer.
