2016 Outlook: Zach LaVine

The Timberwolves lived with the growing pains that came with asking Zach LaVine to run the point, precisely because they knew it would make him a better all-around player once he eventually joined the starting lineup. Their patience was rewarded in the second half of last season, as LaVine emerged as one of the game's brightest young stars in a blazing second-half performance. LaVine started 26 of 28 games after the All-Star break, averaging 16.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists, while nailing 66 3-pointers at a 43.7 percent clip. If LaVine's shooting breakout is real, the sky is the limit for his upside, even on a team that already features go-to scorers in Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns.
