The Raptors might have stumbled into a gem in Norman Powell, the No. 46 pick in last year's draft. Powell barely played early in the season, but forced his way into the starting lineup by February, and broke out in a big way in April. Appearing in eight games in the season's final month, Powell averaged 15.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, providing the Raptors with the reliable third option on the perimeter they've been looking for. His role dropped off in the playoffs, however, and it will be interesting to see if Powell can build on his strong late-season run, or if the playoffs were more indicative of his future value.
