It’s early, but Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz is crafting what could be one of the greatest final seasons in baseball history.
Ortiz, who announced last November that 2016 would be his last year as a player, is batting .321 with nine homers and 29 RBIs in 30 games. And his Red Sox are playoff contenders.
