10 best players in NCAA Tournament's Expanded Bracket Era

They didn’t make the list. They were among the most talented players to compete in the NCAA Tournament during the Expanded Bracket era, which began in 1985 with the first 64-team event, won memorably by Villanova. They were unable to carry their teams to championships, however, and in several instances even to a Final Four.
