Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews is in the midst of a $75 million dollar lawsuit over the naked video filmed of Andrews by her stalker at a Marriott Hotel. Andrews, who at the time was with ESPN, is suing the Marriott Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee after the hotel allowed her stalker to book a room next to her. The stalker then rigged a peephole to tape Andrews undressing.
The lawsuit took nearly eight years to get to court, with Andrews accusing the hotel of negligence, infliction of emotional distress and invasion of privacy. Andrews took the stand Monday, and cried during her testimony. On Tuesday, the defense claimed Andrews got rich off the video.
Marriott's defense just asserted Erin Andrews made more money in her career as a result of the Barrett stalker video going viral. Disgusting

No surprise Erin Andrews is crying right now. Defense takes a pause. Not a smart move by defense.

Peter King of Sports Illustrated called out Marriott for the claim.
To: Sports Media.

If this is true, it might be time to consider a boycott of Marriott properties. https://t.co/z97rurcLcI
The lawsuit is far not over, but the defense claiming Andrews made money off the video should only help her case. The case was expected to last roughly 10 days, and should be completed in the coming days.
