TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's tennis team closed out the first day of competition at the Rocket Invitational with a total of six doubles victories and five singles victories. After getting in one round of doubles, the Rockets were forced to move indoors to Twos Athletic Club due to morning rain.
"I was pleased with the effort today," said head coach . "The girls looked strong on the court, which shows me their relentless training is paying off."
Toledo opened doubles competition by sweeping Saint Francis, with senior /sophomore , freshman /sophomore , and freshman /junior notching victories.
