CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Freshman Margrett Watt and sophomore Lou Trois finished in the top-10 in the 800m on the final day of the Virginia Challenge on Saturday.
Watt came in ninth place with a personal-best time of 2:09.93, which also ranks as the fifth-fastest time in the 800m in UT history. Trois was right behind in 10th place, checking in at 2:10.04.
The performances of Watt and Trois climaxed an outstanding weekend in which Rocket distance runners set five personal records and recorded five times that rank in the top five in Rocket history.
