EAST LANSING, Mich. – Redshirt freshman Valeria Lizcano paced the Toledo women's golf team in Monday's final round of Michigan State's Mary Fossum Invitational. Lizcano shot a team-best four-over par 76 today at the par-72, 6,370-yard Forest Akers West Course.
The Rockets finished in 15th place in the team standings with a total of 956. Ole Miss ran away with the tournament title. The Rebels finished at 17-under par 847, 15 shots in front of the host Spartans. Mississippi's Caitlyn McNab edged the Spartans' Brooke Biermann for medalist honors by one stroke.
The remainder of the Rockets' lineup included senior Yedam Lee (T-73rd/236), senior Kyleigh Dull (77th/238), freshman Brooklyn Millard (82nd/248) and freshman Emily Young (83rd/249).
