As junior Mitch Guadagni and sophomore Eli Peters battle for the starting quarterback job for the University of Toledo this spring and most likely into the fall, they both will use what they learned from previous quarterback Logan Woodside.
Woodside left Toledo as the school’s all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns.
Guadagni served as Woodside’s backup last season along with Michael Julian and learned a lot from the leadership that Woodside displayed.
“He’s a great leader,” Guadagni said. “The time and effort he put into the film room and then the weight room, he was a great leader in that way.
