CLEVELAND — The University of Toledo women’s basketball team won its fourth straight road game with a 65-60 victory over Cleveland State on Wednesday night.
Senior Kaayla McIntyre scored 23 points to lead the Rockets (6-2), while junior Mariella Santucci added 11 points.
Savanna Crockett paced Cleveland State with 18 points, Isabelle Gradwell chipped in with 15 points off the bench, and Start High school alum Mariah White scored 14 points.
Toledo shot 43.5 percent (27-62) from the field in the game but struggled from the 3-point line making just 15.4 percent (2-13) from beyond the arc.
