HENDERSON, Nev. — The University of Toledo men’s basketball team finished its time in the Ball Dawgs Classic with yet another narrow loss on Friday, falling to Indiana State 76-74 in a back-and-forth affair at the Dollar Loan Center.
The defeat was the Rockets’ third in four days while competing at the tournament in Nevada. On Tuesday Toledo fell 92-84 against New Mexico, then the Rockets dropped a 77-71 decision against University of California Irvine.
Against Indiana State, the two teams were tied at 40 at the half and stayed neck-and-neck after the break. Neither squad led by more than five in the second half.
