The theme of this season within the Mid-American Conference has been parity.
As the men's regular season winds down, the league is showing no signs of deviation — and the University of Toledo was thrilled to play its part in keeping the conference balanced.
The Rockets topped West Division leader Ball State 77-67 on Tuesday at Savage Arena, further clouding the MAC picture as the conference tournament inches closer.
“Let's be honest — that was a must-win for us,” UT coach Tod Kowalczyk said. “And I thought our guys performed as such.”
UT (17-11, 8-7) bested Ball State (18-10, 9-6) with offensive efficiency.
