CLEVELAND, OH - No. 6 seed Toledo (22-8) will meet No. 3 seed Kent State (19-11) in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Mid-American Conference Tournament on Wednesday, March 8 in Quicken Loans Arena. The opening tip is slated for approximately 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on BCSN and Spectrum Sports, as well as streamed on ESPN3.
UT and KSU have battled on nine occasions in the MAC Tournament, with Toledo holding a 7-2 ledger (.778) in the postseason. The cross-division rivals most recently met in the semifinals of the 2010 tourney in Cleveland, with the Rockets securing a 51-49 neutral-court triumph.
