MUNCIE, Ind. — The University of Toledo women’s tennis team lost 4-1 to Ball State in the championship match of the Mid-American Conference women’s tennis tournament Sunday.
Ball State took the doubles point before claiming three singles victories to wrap up the match.
Sloane Teske gave Toledo a victory at No. 2 singles, defeating Emma Peeler 7-5, 6-2.
"It's hard to put into words how I feel about this team," Toledo head coach Tracy Mauntler said. "There are no other eight women that I trust more or would want to go into battle with than these eight.
