Brian Wright took the floor of Savage Arena on Thursday, formally introduced as the University of Toledo volleyball coach at a news conference.
The longtime college assistant joined the Rockets following a stint at Ohio State. He also previously coached at Texas Christian and Texas, and he also has coached at the club level with 14 USA Junior National appearances to his credit.
"I wanted to find a place where I can grow the program and do more with the program, but I wanted to be a part of something bigger," Wright said. "I wanted to be a part of a university that wants to grow and a community that wants to grow and get better at volleyball.
