Tuzar Skipper Named Ironman of the Nevada Game

TOLEDO, Ohio - Senior defensive end Tuzar Skipper was voted the Iron Workers Union No. 55 "Ironman of the Game" for his performance in the Rockets' 37-24 victory over Nevada on September 9th.

Skipper had the Rockets' only sack of the night, taking down Nevada quarterback Ty Gangi and forcing a fumble on the play. The fumble was recovered by the Rockets to thwart the Wolf Pack drive in Toledo territory. The Norwich, Conn. native finished second on the team with four tackles, including one tackle for a loss.

In the Rockets' 2016 season, Skipper appeared in 12 games, recording 22 tackles and tallying a season-high six tackles against Northern Illinois.
