TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo women's golf team plays its first tournament of the spring when it heads south to Florida to compete in South Florida's Old Friends Invitational in Tampa, Fla. The 54-hole tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,286-yard Tampa Palms Golf & Country Club on Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 17-18. Both days of competition will begin with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start.
"We're ready to tee it up again after a productive off-season filled with learning," Head Coach Jenny Coluccio said. "Energy has been our main focus. Not just physical energy but more importantly mental and emotional energy.
