Toledo, Ohio— The Toledo baseball team dropped its series finale against Kent State on Sunday, 13-3.
Senior accounted for all three Toledo runs with a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the eighth. Freshman started on the mound for UT and senior , sophomore , and sophomore all contributed out of the bullpen.
The Golden Flashes led from the start of the game after scoring three runs in the top of the first. Kent State scored in seven of its nine innings at the plate to build a substantial lead over the Rockets. KSU hitters were a perfect 9-for-9 at the plate when leading off an inning.
