Despite claiming a spot in the starting lineup the past five games, Toledo redshirt freshman Keshaun Saunders says his role hasn't changed much from earlier in the season when he was the first player off the bench.
While he is still adjusting to the pace of play and the physicality of the game at the college level, Saunders has seen an uptick in his production during Toledo's 12 Mid-American Conference games so far.
“I think it's just been a learning experience,” Saunders said. “That's the biggest thing for me. Me being in the starting lineup definitely put more responsibility on me, but in terms of my role I still feel like it still remains the same.
