The University of Toledo men’s basketball team is red hot right now, winning six straight games and taking a 3-game lead over Western Michigan and Ball State in the Mid-American Conference West Division standings.
During its six-game win streak which has moved its conference record to 6-1, Toledo has seen its Rating Percentage Index (RPI) consistently climb and now the Rockets rank 66th in the nation.
While that RPI ranking is very high for a MAC team, it is the second-best in the conference behind MAC East leading Buffalo, which is 7-0 in the conference and has an RPI of 29.
