MUNCIE, Ind. — The University of Toledo women’s basketball team recovered from a pair of sizable deficits — one in each half — to upend Ball State 58-55 in Mid-American Conference play on Wednesday.
The Rockets (13-3, 7-0 MAC), who won their seventh straight game, trailed by 15 points in the first quarter, and also nine points with 8:06 remaining in the game, only to come back each time.
Jayda Jansen scored seven of Toledo’s last 15 points to close out the victory, including a 3-pointer and, later, two pairs of free throws in the last 2:40.
