Tricia Cullop's women's basketball staff is complete again.
The University of Toledo hired Ari Wideman to fill the assistant coaching vacancy created by Mark Stephens' departure to Purdue. She comes to UT after one season at Arkansas State, four at San Jose State, and two at Prairie View A&M.
Wideman has worked heavily in recruiting, developing point guards, and scouting opponents throughout her career. At San Jose State, she was part of the biggest turnaround in women's college basketball, as the Spartans went from six wins to 19 in a single season.
The California native played collegiately at Nevada (2010 to 2014), where she was an All-Mountain West performer.
