ATHENS, Ohio — The University of Toledo women’s basketball team fell behind early and couldn’t make up the ground in an 85-66 loss to Ohio University in a Mid-American Conference game on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Rockets fall to 6-3 overall, 2-3 in the MAC.
Sophomore Quinesha Lockett led Toledo with 15 points, while freshmen Khera Goss and Mickayla Perdue had 11 points each.
Perdue shot 4-of-5 from the field in a season-high 14 minutes off the bench.
“I was very proud of Mickayla’s performance today,” Toledo coach Tricia Cullop said.
“She’s getting better and better each day, and she needs to get more playing time.
