The University of Toledo women's basketball team started ice cold from the field and coach Tricia Cullop didn't care for the defensive execution in the first half on Sunday afternoon against Loyola Maryland at Savage Arena.
A quick third-quarter spurt, however, quickly eased some of those concerns as the Rockets cruised to a 65-35 victory.
Worried about a possible dip in intensity after the emotional home win over the University of Michigan on Wednesday, Cullop still felt her team was prepared for the Greyhounds.
“I talk to our players a lot about accountability and maturity,” Cullop said.
